Fit and break-in behavior
Contoured pillows work best when your shoulder width matches the cutout depth. Side sleepers typically need the higher loft at the neck roll; back sleepers may prefer rotating the pillow so the lower edge supports the occiput. Memory foam responds to body heat and may feel firmer in cool rooms until warmed.
Allow several nights before judging comfort, as foam can soften slightly during initial use. If the loft feels excessive, verify whether a lower-profile revision exists for your sleep position.
Cover and foam care
- Cover washing: Remove and machine wash on gentle cycle per label; air dry to avoid shrinkage.
- Foam spot clean: Core foam should not be submerged; dab with mild detergent and allow full dry before use.
- Off-gassing: New foam may emit a mild odor; ventilate the room for 24–48 hours before first use if sensitive.
